$1 OPC Experiment

The One-Person Internet Company Manifesto

One person. One laptop. Small bets. Real users. Real data. Keep going.

I am building a tiny internet company from scratch.

No employees.
No venture capital.
No big office.

Just one person, AI tools, a collection of websites, small experiments and a willingness to keep learning.

These are the principles I want to follow.

Ten Principles

01

Build assets, not just projects.

Every domain, article, tool, dataset and audience should become something I own.

02

Build small before building big.

Launch the smallest useful version. Let users and data decide what deserves more work.

03

AI is my team, not my business.

AI helps me research, build, review and automate. The business still needs real users and real value.

04

Never solve the same infrastructure problem twice.

Build systems, templates and automation once. Reuse them.

05

Measure before expanding.

Visitors, impressions, usage, clicks and revenue matter more than how many features I can build.

06

Keep costs low and runway long.

Cheap experiments let me stay in the game for years.

07

Own the important things.

Domains, content, code, data and brand should belong to me whenever possible.

08

Failure is data.

A website nobody wants is not wasted if it teaches me what not to build next.

09

The first goal is not $10,000 a month.

First earn $1 from a stranger. Then $10. Then $100. Build proof step by step.

10

Keep trying.

I do not need to know which project will win. I need to stay curious, keep shipping and keep learning.

I'm not teaching from success. I'm documenting the attempt.

The company begins at $0.

The first mission is simple:

Earn the first real dollar from something I built on the internet.
